The Friends of Blodgett Library present: Lunch & Lecture

Thursday June 8th 12-2pm

The Friends of the Blodgett Memorial Library are sponsoring a  lunch and speaker for the benefit of the Library on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at  The I-84 Diner, 853 Route 52, Fishkill, NY.    Lunch will start at 12:00 noon and the talk will start at 1:00 p.m.

The talk, titled  “Good Bugs, Bad Bugs and a Healthy Garden”  will be presented by Johanna Tomik Master Gardener Volunteer from Dutchess County Cooperative Extension.  How can we manage those pesky insects without harming the good ones,  how can you tell a good bug from a bad bug?  The presentation will give you an overview on insects, methods for attracting good bugs, methods for reducing bad bugs… and may even have you appreciating our insect neighbors!

The luncheon buffet includes tossed salad with house dressing, mixed vegetables, bread & butter, baked ziti, eggplant parmigiana, chicken francese,  coffee tea or soda and chocolate cake.
