Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 1pm.
Who we are:
We are a group of volunteers who work closely with Blodgett Library to provide assistance. The Friends’ mission is to raise money on behalf of the Library to support its services, programs, and to raise public awareness in the community.
What we do:
The Friends of Blodgett Library maintain the Blodgett Basement Bookstore, conduct fundraisers, mail an annual appeal letter to the community, and assist the library however we can!
What we need:
We are currently recruiting new members. If you are looking to make a difference in your community, enjoy your local library, or have time you would like to donate to a worthy cause, then please check us out by attending one of our meetings as a visitor to determine if becoming a Friend is for you. You may also email us with any questions.
How you can help:
Book donations of gently used books are accepted at the front desk of the library during open operating hours. Space on our shelves is sometimes limited so please check ahead with the library before you pack up your car! We do not accept magazines, encyclopedias, damaged or moldy books, or VHS tapes.
